When we were kids, we used to spend our winter holidays in Asiago, a plateau near Vicenza where our families own a holiday home. Although we have lots of memories related to this mountain town, from our excursions in the woods to the skiing with friends, we gradually stopped going there as we were convinced that Asiago had nothing new to offer.
Lately, however, driven by a bit of nostalgia, we started visiting this place again, especially during summer, when the high temperatures are more bearable at these altitudes.
Recently we have discovered a hidden gem that has already become one of our favorite destinations: The Meltar Boutique Hotel. The property, located inside the Asiago Golf Club, is furnished with a refined style, a great attention to details and equipped with a SPA and a wellness center. Definitely, the perfect place to spend quality time with your family or friends in a relaxing location surrounded by nature!We really like this place and, every time we go there, we feel pampered and we get home regenerated in both our mind and body, completely free from stress!
You can access the SPA even without being a guest of the Hotel, just booking with a phone call and requesting availability for the day you desire (reservation is strongly recommended as they allow a limited number of people daily). The access to the SPA is not very cheap but in our opinion it’s really worth it! The SPA is furnished with refinement like the Hotel and every detail, carefully chosen, perfectly matches the surrounding landscape. During our last stay there, the atmosphere had been revived with tropical inspiration and references to prehistory, paintings of flowers and plants, showcases with leaves, turtles and toy dinosaurs, and some fuchsia orchids to give a touch of color to the location.
At the reception, customers are provided with a bathrobe, a towel and a pair of slippers. The guests are then accompanied to the changing rooms, fully equipped with locker cabinets and hairdryers; shampoos and conditioners are available in the showers.
The relaxation zone is small but adorable: thanks to huge windows, a bright light fills the room. The SPA consists of a main room with loungers, two jacuzzi, a corner dedicated to herbal infusions and flavored waters, a sauna and a Turkish bath. Outside, there is another hot tub and deck chairs where you can sunbathe. The SPA offers various types of wellness treatments that can be booked. There is also a small room for those who are hungry where you can eat comfortably wearing a bathrobe! Instead, there is the chance to order some different special drinks directly from the relaxation room.
